# Agent Tools

> Claude Code-inspired tools for Spring AI agents — file I/O, shell, search, web, and multi-agent orchestration

> This is a Spring AI Community project (`spring-ai-community/spring-ai-agent-utils`) and is not part of the AgentWorks platform. It uses its own repository and Maven coordinates (`org.springaicommunity`).

A Spring AI library that reimplements Claude Code-inspired capabilities as Java-based tools. This is the foundational toolkit for building AI agents in Java/Spring applications — the tools that [Loopy](https://lab.pollack.ai/projects/loopy.md) uses under the hood.

## Core Tools

| **TaskTools** | Multi-agent orchestration with specialized subagent delegation |
| **TodoWriteTool** | Structured task management with state tracking |
| **SmartWebFetchTool** | AI-powered web content summarization with caching |
| **BraveWebSearchTool** | Web search with domain filtering |
| **AskUserQuestionTool** | Interactive Q\&A with multiple-choice options |
